The religious ceremony will be held at the Cathedral St. Alexander, Alexandria, Teleorman.
It will start at 14:30 and it will last for about an hour.

How to get there

Driving

The easiest way to get to the wedding venue is to rent a car from the Bucharest International Airport Henri Coanda, and to drive there. The drive will take less than two hours if the traffic is not too bad. Pay attention to Romanian drivers, though (especially if you come from Australia). Here is a map of the drive:

Public transport

The venue is also reachable via public transport. However, this is made of two legs and requires a change in Bucharest:
  • from the airport to the bus stations using Bucharest public transport
  • minibus from the bus station to Alexandria, Teleorman
  • 10 minutes walk to the venue of the religious ceremony
From the airport to the bus station
The bus 783 takes you from the Airport to the city center (Piata Unirii), from where you need to change to bus 385. In case you get lost, most young Romanians speak good English and are quite helpful. Here is the details of the bus station and the Google map of how to get there:

From the bus station to Alexandria
Buses leave every 30 minutes, they take about 1 hour to arrive to Alexandria, and they will stop at Cuza Voda St., No. 88, Alexandria. The price of a one way ticket is 25 lei (5.36 Euro).

Walking to the venue
If you need to get directly from the bus arrival to the venue, there is a 10 minutes walk. The easiest way to get around in Alexandria is by taxi (sorry, no Uber) - taxi details below on this page. Here below is the (awesomely drawn) walking map from the bus arrival to the religious venue:

The party

At the end of the religious ceremony, the dinner, dancing and party will be held at the IZABEL Restaurant in the Poroschia Commune, Teleorman, starting from 17:30.

To get from the cathedral to the restaurant, the easiest is by car (9 minutes driving / 5.9 km) or by taxi. Most likely, there will be other people car pooling towards the restaurant. Just in case, there is a taxi station just near the church available any time; if no taxi is around, then you can call a taxi at:

The price is around at 1.8 lei / km, so the total fare should be around 10-12 lei for the trip (~ 2.66 EURO). The party will be held all night, until late.
